Black-hooded parakeet

Approximately 30-32 cm in size; mostly green with a black head, face and beak, as well as contrasting orange-red legs. Highly gregarious and noisy, it is a common species of the Chacoan Palm savannas. They feed on the seeds, fruits, buds, flowers and leaves, and in some areas can be a pest for crops.
